Job summary

TrueForge is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain the infrastructure behind our modernization projects. You will bridge software development and IT operations to build reliable, scalable deployment and run environments.

You’ll implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, and containerize apps for modern environments. Strong scripting and Linux skills are essential for collaboration and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, or Terraform).
• Proficiency with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack) and experience integrating them into operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar) and on-premises servers to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, enabling legacy applications to run in modern environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation) to provision and configure environments consistently and repeatably.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes and quickly resolve any deployment or environment issues.
