Job summary

ICEYE in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a DevOps Engineer to keep mission systems running by deploying releases, troubleshooting issues and continuously improving processes and documentation. This role directly supports ICEYE's Mission business line customers.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborate with global teams, and participate in on-call rotation after onboarding. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes are required.

The Mission of the DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer your core purpose is to keep mission systems running smoothly by deploying new releases troubleshooting issues and continuously improving processes and documentation. This work directly supports the success of ICEYEs Mission business line customers

Role-specific Competences

1. Technical Expertise: A strong dual foundation in both software development and DevOps principles at least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on deployment configuration and operational management of software services particularly within Kubernetes. Experience taking technical responsibility for a high-availability service.
2. Communication: Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English enabling effective collaboration within an international team and with customer technical representatives
3. Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
4. Adaptability: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply strong analytical skills. Ability to participate in on-call rotation after 6 months onboarding is expected.
