Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks);
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices;
• Good analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoices, payroll and bank reconciliations;
• Accurately entering data into the accounting system;
• Preparing monthly financial statements;
• Reconciling bank statements;
• Monitoring cash flow;
• Assisting with budget preparation;
• Reviewing expenditures to ensure accuracy;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
• Remaining current on industry trends relating to accounting and finance.
