Job description

We are seeking a qualified Design & Estimation Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in lighting design and estimation within the lighting, MEP, or consultancy sectors, and switchgears. The role requires technical expertise in lighting principles and design tools, along with strong collaboration and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lighting design and estimation tasks for lighting, MEP, or consultancy projects.
• Apply lighting design principles such as lux levels, beam angles, UGR, LPD, power density, and photometry.
• Utilize Dialux / Dialux Evo software for lighting simulation and calculations.
• Read and interpret construction documentation including IFC and shop drawings.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and sales teams.
• Manage multiple project deadlines under time pressure with a service-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in lighting design and/or estimation within a relevant environment.
• Proficiency in Dialux / Dialux Evo.
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles.
• Knowledge of LED technologies, drivers, lighting controls, and architectural/urban lighting solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC and shop drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
