Job Summary:
We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious Depot Operators with a strong background in aviation terminal operations and jet fuel handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of operational discipline, attention to detail, and a commitment to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the aviation fuel depot including receipt, storage and dispatch of jet fuel
- Operate and monitor fuel handling systems, pumps, valves and other related equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation of fuel movements and inventory levels
- Conduct routine checks and inspections of storage tanks, pipelines and safety systems
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines strictly
- Assist in product sampling, testing and quality control activities as per industry standards
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety training
- Report incidents, near‑misses and equipment anomalies to supervisors promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard‑free work environment
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in aviation terminal operations and jet fuel handling (preferred)
- Diploma in a technical or mechanical field (non‑automotive)
Skills & Competencies:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- High level of HSE awareness and compliance
- Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive approach to tasks
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, data entry) with a willingness to improve skills
Work Conditions:
- Shift‑based work including weekends and public holidays
- Exposure to outdoor and potentially hazardous environments
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing and operating heavy equipment
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience in aviation fuel depots, refueling operations or terminal logistics
- Familiarity with international fuel handling standards (e.g., JIG API)
- Participation in HSE or emergency response initiatives is an advantage
