Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a skilled Denter to repair customer vehicles in accordance with company standards. You will collect orders, materials, and tools, perform welding and fabrication, align chassis, and replace panels as required. The role requires 3–5 years of denting experience and an ability to work safely in a busy body shop.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, use of CAR-O-LINER, and adherence to repair specifications to ensure quality outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• ITI or matriculation is required.
• Diploma in Automotive Engineering preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and materials/tools/equipment for repairs per company standards.
• Ensure quality welding and fabrication and manage repair timelines.
• Repair body panels and minor structural damage as specified.
• Replace major welded panels when needed.
• Align vehicle body and under frame, check chassis alignment.
• Perform CAR-O-LINER measurements and major sectional repair.
• Authorize additional repairs, book parts and keep warranty parts for audits.
• Follow health and safety procedures in the workshop.
• Remove and replace vehicle body panels and fittings, maintain tools.

To carry out effective and efficient repair of customer vehicles as per the company’s standard and specification

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and the necessary materials/ tools/ equipment, to carry out the repairs on the customer’s vehicles in accordance with the company’s standard and specification.
• Ensure quality welding and fabrication is done for the vehicles and time allocated for the repairs has been utilized effectively. Report to the Body shop Team leader of any delays/difficulty in repairs.
• Repair body panels and minor structural damage
• Replace major welded panels
• Carry out vehicle body and under frame alignment
• Carry out vehicle chassis measurement (CAR-O-LINER) and major sectional repair.
• Ensure all additional repairs are authorized, parts are booked to the repair order and warranty parts are retained to facilitate audit processes
• Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures
• Remove and replace vehicle body panels, panel sections and ancillary fittings
• Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
