Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Sharjah practice. The successful candidate will provide chair-side assistance and other duties as assigned, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires English communication skills, with Arabic being beneficial. A minimum of one year in a dental setting is preferred, and a Dental Assistant Certificate or Diploma from an accredited school is desirable. Compensatory benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of dental practice experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant Certificate or Diploma from an accredited school.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic helpful.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Basic dental terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists, including setting up instruments and suctioning.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping surfaces clean and orderly.
• Prepare impression materials and other dental materials as instructed by the dentist.
• Take X-rays as requested by the dentist following the correct techniques.
• Ensure that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and disinfected according to infection control procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the dentist or Practice Manager.
