Job summary

Talents of Endearment seeks an DDoS Specialist in the UAE to manage advanced monitoring, real-time mitigation, and incident response within a high-availability security environment.

Emirati nationals will lead containment during critical events, perform threat hunting, and drive security governance across operations. Strong SIEM and forensics knowledge is essential for RCA documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Emirati national required for the role.
• 3–6 years in SOC/MSS, IR, or DDoS mitigation.
• Deep understanding of DDoS vectors (volumetric, protocol, app-layer).
• Experience with DDoS platforms: Arbor, Radware, Cloudflare, Akamai, F5.
• Proficient in traffic analysis, packet inspection, anomaly detection.
• Strong SIEM, log analysis, and monitoring background.
• Ability to lead high-pressure incident response scenarios.
• Familiar with forensics, RCA documentation and evidence handling.
• Excellent communication for customer-facing reporting and escalation.
• Knowledge of networks: routing, firewalls, load balancers.

Responsibilities

• SOC Operations — manage daily SOC/MSS operations and SLAs.
• Incident Response — lead containment, eradication, and recovery for DDoS incidents.
• Threat Hunting — conduct proactive hunts for anomalous traffic and botnet activity.
• Security Monitoring — detect, triage, and escalate incidents with speed.
• Root Cause Analysis — support forensics and RCA documentation.
• SLA Compliance — ensure activities meet contractual governance.
• Customer Reporting — deliver incident summaries and dashboards.
• Resource Management — oversee shift planning and analyst readiness.
• Process Optimization — improve SOC workflows and runbooks.
• Team Escalation — serve as escalation point for complex blockers.
