Job summary

Uae Job Alert seeks a data analytics leader to transform its automotive division into a data-driven function that supports CRM, brand, marketing, and digital teams.

You will independently manage analytics projects, design dashboards, develop predictive models, and deploy ML solutions, reporting to the Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years in Data Science or ML Engineering with hands-on deployment experience.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of analytics projects from formulation to maintenance.
• Design dashboards, apps, and visualizations to communicate results.
• Develop and deploy statistical models, including GLMs, time series, clustering, and anomaly detection.
• Create supervised and unsupervised ML models using standard libraries.
• Work with a cloud-based data stack and consumer-related data.

Role Overview:
We’re looking to enhance our automotive division’s strategy by transforming it into a data-driven organization, leveraging advanced analytics to support our CRM, brand, marketing, and digital teams.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Independently manage all phases of analytics projects, including formulation, research, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Data Visualization: Design innovative communication methods for descriptive and predictive modeling results through dashboards, apps, and visualizations.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in programming and capable of utilizing various data analytics software, coding languages, and statistical tools.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following: Python, PySpark, Scala, R, and SQL (mandatory).
• Statistical Modeling: Develop, implement, and deploy statistical models, including generalized linear models, time series models, forecasting techniques, cluster analysis, anomaly detection, and descriptive statistical techniques (e.g., significance testing, model fit).
• Machine Learning: Create both supervised and unsupervised models, utilizing decision trees, KNN models, neural networks, and standard machine learning libraries.
• Required Skills for Success:
• Proficient in Python Programming
• Experience with the Databricks Platform
• Expertise in Building Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning Models
• 6-8 Years of Relevant Experience or 5-6 Years with a Master’s Degree
