Client of AIQU seeks a seasoned Data Scientist to lead end-to-end machine learning projects in Abu Dhabi. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor junior analysts, and drive data-driven decisions to support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include designing predictive models, building scalable pipelines, and deploying models in cloud and on-prem environments while ensuring data quality and governance. Strong senior-level expertise and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and experimental design.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join our dynamic analytics team in Abu Dhabi In this role you will lead end-to-end machine learning and data analytics projects collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making to support strategic business objectives

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions
• Lead data collection, cleaning and preprocessing pipelines at scale
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts
• Perform exploratory data analysis and communicate insights through visualizations and executive presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy, oil, amp, gas, or utilities sector
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Airflow, dbt or Kafka
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI CD pipelines for machine learning
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker
• Professional certifications in data science or cloud platforms, e g AWS Certified Machine Learning
• Leadership experience in mentoring high-performance analytics teams
