Job summary

C5i is seeking a Data Quality Manager to lead the DGMP, designing and maintaining Informatica-based data governance and data quality capabilities. You will focus on CDGC cataloging, profiling, CDI mappings, and DQ rule development, leveraging MCC and Snowflake for governance visibility and exception logging.

Brief Job Description

The Data Quality Manager will support clients’ Data Governance & Management Program (DGMP) by designing, building, and maintaining Informatica-based data governance and data quality capabilities. The role focuses on CDGC cataloging, data scanning/profiling, CDI mappings, DQ rule development, and exception reporting, enabling reliable regulatory and KYC/AML customer data outcomes. The role will also contribute to optimizing client’s DQ framework by leveraging integrated AI capabilities (e.g., Informatica CLAIRE AI) and emerging agentic AI approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Informatica Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)

• Maintain and enhance business and technical metadata in CDGC for KYC/AML customer attributes (Retail and Corporate).
• Define and update business definitions, data ownership, stewardship, criticality, reference list alignment, and lineage-ready metadata.
• Ensure catalogue entries are complete, consistent, and aligned to DGMP objectives and downstream DQ requirements.

Data Scanning, Profiling & Metadata Command Center

• Perform data scanning and profiling to understand completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, and conformity patterns.
• Use Metadata Command Center (MCC) to support metadata discovery, monitoring, and governance visibility.
• Translate profiling results into actionable insights for DQ rules, remediation priorities, and stakeholder decisions.
• Design and develop CDI mappings to extract, transform, validate, and load rule execution results into target stores (e.g., Snowflake exception log tables).
• Implement best practices for mapping design, parameterization, reusability, performance, and deployment.
• Support integration patterns between source systems and curated layers, aligned to DGMP architecture.

Data Quality Rule Development (CDQ)

• Build and maintain data quality rules based on catalogued definitions and agreed business intent.
• Ensure rules are backed by profiling evidence and avoid unnecessary scope creep that creates false exceptions.
• Implement rule dependencies, exception outputs, and dashboards enablement (exception logging, scoring, trends).

Framework Optimization & AI Enablement

• Continuously improve client’s DQ framework: rule standards, reusable patterns, triage workflows, exception categorization, and monitoring.
• Leverage Informatica CLAIRE AI efficiently to accelerate cataloging, profiling insights, and rule development where applicable.
• Contribute ideas for integrating controlled agentic AI use cases (e.g., rule suggestion, exception triage assistance, catalog enrichment) with strong governance guardrails.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Communicate technical complexity clearly (steps, dependencies, risks, and options) to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide realistic effort estimates and delivery plans with transparent breakdown (design/config/dev/test/deploy).
• Support onsite/client engagement with strong stakeholder management and collaboration.

Business Understanding & Data Insights Support

• Understand and interpret requirements and needs provided by Compliance, Operations, and Business stakeholders (e.g., KYC/AML, onboarding controls, regulatory reporting impacts).
• Translate those needs into practical DG/DQ actions such as:
• catalogue refinements (definitions, reference list alignment, stewardship/ownership),
• profiling evidence and issue interpretation,
• DQ rule intent and rule coverage decisions,
• exception prioritization and remediation insights.
• Generate insights from large datasets (SQL/Snowflake) to support root-cause analysis, decision‑making, and governance reporting.
• Support delivery reporting and continuity when needed (status summaries, action logs, risks/blocks, and clear next steps).

• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica:
• CDI (mappings, parameterization, deployments, using reusable DQ rules with CDI)
• CDGC (cataloging, business/technical metadata management)

• Solid understanding of data quality dimensions and operationalization (profiling → rules → exceptions → remediation loop).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze data in relational environments.

• Understanding of database concepts (tables, columns, keys, reference data, relationships, best practices).
• Strong communication and documentation skills with ability to explain “how/why” clearly.
