Job summary

Innovo Group Dubai is seeking a senior data engineering and platform leader to establish and scale the organization’s data capability, turning business data into governed, reusable information. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management to shape the platform, engineering practices, data products, and service standards for reporting, analytics, and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering, platform delivery or similar.
• Hands-on experience building scalable data platforms in Azure.
• Strong data integration, modeling, quality, and governance knowledge.
• Experience leading engineers and coordinating vendors with knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the data engineering and platform roadmap.
• Assess data landscape, ownership, access, quality, and dependencies.
• Lead design, build, and operation of scalable data pipelines and services.
• Create reusable data products and supported data capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards for version control, testing, and releases.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Own platform performance, reliability, cost, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT, analytics, AI, cybersecurity, and business partners.
• Mentor and develop team members; manage vendors and knowledge transfer.
