Job summary

A global tourism company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will verify and enter invoices submitted by tourists, ensure timely payment processing, and prepare reports for management. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least one year of experience in data entry. Strong proficiency in Arabic and English, along with excellent MS Excel skills, are essential for success in this role.

What you will do
  • Data Entry: To check the invoices submitted by the tourist and ensure that this has been approved by the relevant team. To enter the invoices in an Excel file on a daily and weekly basis capturing the necessary information.
  • Enter accurate data into relevant software and internal systems
  • To ensure that payments to tourists are being processed regularly and perform follow ups as needed.
  • To perform weekly reconciliations to ensure all data has been recorded and accounted.
  • Prepare weekly reports containing tourist related information and submit to management.
  • Assist in preparing monthly invoices and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tourist queries regarding invoices, payments, and refund procedures.
  • Provide support and information to internal departments as needed.
  • Assist in any other additional duties as assigned.
Who you are
  • Arabic and English written and spoken skills.
  • Bachelors Degree Graduate with minimum 1-year experience in data entry.
  • High words-per-minute (WPM) rate with minimal errors.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Being a team player and confidently collaborating with internal teams.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data. Good data entry skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Positive attitude towards colleagues, changes and challenges.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong comprehension of accounting principles.
