Job summary

IT People Gulf is seeking a Data Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on creating secure, reliable data pipelines to power AI solutions, with emphasis on data preparation and governance. UAE-based candidates are preferred.

You will connect data sources, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, cleanse and structure data, and ensure data quality while enabling AI/RAG workflows and compliant access controls.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in data engineering, database development, ETL, BI or enterprise integrations.
• Key skills: SQL, Python, APIs, data pipelines, ETL tools, data quality, databases, SharePoint/ERP/CRM integration, governance.
• Connect data sources, build ETL/ELT pipelines, cleanse and structure data, manage data quality, prepare datasets for AI/RAG, implement access controls, support data cataloguing and maintain integration pipelines.
