Job description

Help AG is seeking for a Data Classification Consultant (Arabic Speaker) with hands‑on experience in identifying, classifying, and securing unstructured data using industry‑leading tools such as Microsoft Purview, GitVisibility, and Symantec DLP. The ideal candidate will have a solid security background and experience working closely with business stakeholders to identify sensitive information and implement appropriate handling and protection strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business users to identify critical and sensitive information across departments.
  • Support users in classifying data based on business value, sensitivity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide stakeholders in defining handling and sharing protocols for classified data.
  • Provide guidance to the technical implementation team for translating the business requirement to technical configurable classification and protection policies. (e.g., Microsoft Purview, GitVisibility).
  • Work with security and compliance teams to align data classification efforts with regulatory needs.
  • Develop awareness material and provide knowledge transfer for data classification procedures and best practices.
  • Provide insights on improving data governance and risk reduction through data classification.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or information governance.
  • Hands‑on working experience with data classification consulting specifically, and classification technology as an added value.
  • Familiarity with unstructured data environments and classification challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Microsoft Information Protection certifications or equivalent is a plus.
  • CompTIA Security+, CIPP, or equivalent is a plus.
