Job summary

WSP is seeking a Design Manager within the Middle East to lead multidisciplinary teams on Data Centre projects, coordinating architecture, structural, MEP, ICT, life safety, and utility disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.

You will guide the team through all design stages, ensuring safety, regulatory alignment, and client satisfaction while promoting BIM and digital design tools and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years of project/design management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary Data Centre design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design process for Data Centre design from concept to construction coordination.
• Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structural, MEP, ICT, life safety, infrastructure and utility disciplines.
• Serve as part of client interface team, supporting the project manager in managing communication, expectations, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Champion design excellence and innovation, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Promote the integration of digital design tools and technologies (BIM, Revit, digital twins) to enhance collaboration.
• Manage project risks, design changes, and ensure timely approvals and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and performance against objectives and deliverables.
• Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
