Job summary

Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure quality of mechanical installation works for a Data Center project. You will implement project QA/QC requirements, conduct inspections, review technical docs, and monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and international standards.

The role focuses on HVAC, chilled water, piping, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs and related equipment, with strong emphasis on testing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Mechanical QA/QC.
• Data Center / Mission Critical projects experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ITPs, method statements, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, material approvals and quality documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, ASME, SMACNA, NFPA, ASTM and related standards.
• UAE/GCC data center or large-scale MEP project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for mechanical works.
• Inspect installation activities for compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs and project requirements.
• Prepare, review and implement ITPs, checklists and inspection procedures.
• Witness and coordinate mechanical testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain inspection records, quality dossiers, and test reports.
• Raise NCRs and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, vendors and client representatives.
• Review submittals, MIRs/WIRs and material certificates.
• Ensure all installed materials/equipment meet project specifications.
