Star Services LLC Arelooking for Data Analyst

Key Responsibility:

• Review and understand all relevant policies and procedures in order to be able to carry out daily work tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Identify the appropriate analysis method and apply statistical techniques to analyze and interpret the related data.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and analyze, interpret, and summarize data in order to generate statistical and analytical reports.
• Design, develop, and maintain specific databases for the collection, tracking, and reporting of related data to provide reports and statistics in an accurate and timely manner.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. As well as remove corrupted or unreliable data/results.
• Filter and sort data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Utilize specified statistical software to analyze and interpret the related data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, ongoing-scaled deliverables, and presentations.
• Design database specifications, manage the current analysis software/application, and suggest improvements when needed.
• Provide the necessary assistance and support to the line manager and other team members in ensuring the departments KPIs are achieved successfully by gathering the necessary data, preparing progress reports, and implementing the necessary action plans.

Qualification:

• Minimum of bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline will add an advantage. 2-4 years of UAE experience in a similar role preferably in higher education institutions.
