Job summary

Dicetek LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced information security professional to design, implement and operate security controls across network, endpoint, cloud and application layers.

You will lead SIEM/EDR operations, coordinate vulnerability management and audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with UAE standards (NESA/SIA, PDPL), ISO 27001 and NIST CSF for critical government/regulator environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Security, Forensics, or Information Systems Management; cybersecurity specialization preferred.
• 8–10 years in cybersecurity for degree holders.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Active Directory, Windows/Linux hardening, and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and DLP platforms.
• Familiarity with UAE IA standards: NESA/SIA, PDPL, ISO 27001, NIST CSF.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across network, endpoint, cloud, and application layers.
• Operate and tune SIEM/EDR; triage alerts and lead incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with IT and application owners.
• Ensure compliance with UAE IA standards (NESA/SIA), PDPL, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
• Manage identity and access governance: least privilege, periodic access reviews.
• Maintain security architecture documentation, policies, standards, and baseline configurations.
• Support secure system onboarding, change reviews, and third-party/vendor security assessments.
• Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations for staff.
• Produce risk registers and periodic reports for management and regulators.
• Any additional work assigned by the manager

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• 4-8 years hands-on information security experience, preferably in government or regulated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Active Directory, Windows/Linux hardening, and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Working experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and DLP platforms.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and national IA standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement, and maintain security controls across network, endpoint, cloud, and application layers (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, WAF, email/web gateways, PAM).
• Operate and tune SIEM/SOC tooling; triage alerts, lead incident response, forensics, and post-incident reporting.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with IT and application owners; support annual penetration tests and audit findings closure.
• Implement and evidence compliance with applicable frameworks — UAE Information Assurance Standard (NESA/SIA), Dubai ISR, PDPL, ISO 27001, NIST CSF.
• Manage identity and access governance: least privilege, privileged account controls, periodic access reviews.
• Maintain security architecture documentation, policies, standards, and baseline hardening configurations.

Academic Qualification

Bachelors or Masters in the field of Security & Forensic or Information Systems Management or any relative field, Candidates with specialized degrees in Cybersecurity will be preferred.
