Job summary

A car rental company in Dubai is seeking an experienced operations coordinator to manage service bookings, oversee driver productivity, and maintain customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in fleet operations, excellent communication skills, and be fluent in English. This role requires responding to customer inquiries promptly and ensuring high standards for vehicle service and management.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in car rental and fleet operations, with a focus on service coordination and customer handling.
  • Must be fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attend all service bookings on time and coordinate with customers.
  • Open and close all vehicle transactions for service.
  • Organize training for drivers to improve productivity.
  • Visit customers to build better relationships.
  • Attend breakdowns and provide equivalent vehicles within 2 hours.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring to attend all service booking on agreed time, also coordinating with customer, and arranging drivers and similar vehicles.
  • Opening and closing of all transactions of vehicles which are collected for repair /service/accident and transferring to workshop and other agency based on job requirement.
  • Organizing & Training drivers frequently to increase driver productivity.
  • Providing proper product and training for all drivers on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Visiting customers frequently to build better relationship
  • Attending breakdown by providing equivalent vehicle within 2 hours in Dubai and other emirates based on distance.
  • Coordinating with workshop for customer original vehicles and updating on timely basis.
  • Ensuring to return all original vehicle to customer once ready from workshop.
  • Ensuring to maintain high quality vehicle as per SHIFT standard.
  • Receiving vehicles from car wash and closing NRT.
  • Updating fuel invoice supporting's on day-to-day basis
  • Responding to all phone calls and ensuring to provide all necessary support.
  • Ensuring to reply all external/internal customer emails within 2 hours.
  • Making sure to assign jobs to drivers regularly to ensure high production.
  • Analyzing points based on distance/location and approving drivers OT.
  • Transferring old and high mileage floating vehicles to sales on regular basis.
  • Make sure fleet reconciliation is done on daily basis and clear the variance if any same day
Education Qualification
Work Experience

4 years of experience in car rental and fleet operations, including service coordination, customer handling, driver management, and daily fleet reconciliation.

Languages
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Arabic is preferred.
