Job summary

A financial services firm in Dubai is seeking a customer service representative to assist clients and ensure compliance with regulations. Job description
Purpose

Provide assistance and information to clients in the DFM branch. Act as focal contact point between clients and the different functions within the brokerage department.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for opening new accounts for branch clients in the DFM branch and ensure that all related paperwork is complete.
  2. Understand and fulfill branch clients’ needs and requests in a timely manner and report any complaints, or feedback provided to the relevant parties.
  3. Promote the firm’s services and answer branch clients’ inquiries comprehensively.
  4. Assist the branch clients to
    • update account data.
    • amend forms.
    • issue and deliver checks.
  5. Stay up to date with Corporate Actions’ rules and regulations.
  6. Adhere to the market’s rules and regulations, and the firm's policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
  8. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
  9. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree or High school Diploma.
  2. 0 - 4 years’ experience in a similar customer centric role.
  3. Very good command of Arabic and English.
  4. Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Power point).
  5. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  6. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
  7. Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
  8. Able to work under pressure.
