Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu-Dhabi seeks a Bank Teller to deliver outstanding customer service while handling cash and daily banking transactions in line with regulations.

The role involves greeting customers, verifying identities, opening and maintaining accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and answering inquiries. A high school diploma and bilingual English/Arabic are preferred; a competitive salary of 1,700 AED per month is offered along with medical insurance and vacations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy including MS Office.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival at the bank.
• Verify customer's identity before performing banking transactions.
• Open new customer accounts and maintain existing ones.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque cashing etc. as per bank regulations.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding bank services such as loans, investments etc.
• Reconcile transactions at the end of every business day.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions for audit purposes.
• Assist with other departments when needed.
