• 1–3 years of cashiering or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer payments, including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers.
• Process sales and service transactions using the dealership's management software.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers with accuracy.
• Greet customers warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and assisted throughout their visit.
• Address customer inquiries about dealership services, promotions, and financial transactions.
• Resolve any customer complaints promptly or elevate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
• Ensure customers are provided with an exceptional experience and maintain a customer-centric attitude.
• Count cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring funds are accurately accounted for.
• Balance cash, check, and credit card transactions at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
• Prepare and make daily bank deposits when required, with accurate reporting of funds.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions for auditing purposes.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries and reports for the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and dealership guidelines.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records.
• Support other departments with financial or transactional assistance as needed.
• Follow dealership policies regarding cash handling and transaction recording.
• Ensure the security of cash, card data, and personal customer information.
• Report suspicious activities or discrepancies to the Chief Cashier or supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on policies and customer service practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Uphold company values and sound judgment in decision making.
• Any other duties as required by management.
