Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our Dubai operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role's primary purpose is to:

  1. Manage, review, and enforce the corporate collection policy
  2. Monitor credit granting and conduct periodic credit reviews
  3. Drive collections to minimize receivables
  4. Manage and develop the Collection department

Your main duties include:

  1. Grant credit to customers according to company policies and procedures, and oversee credit collections
  2. Ensure adherence to collection procedures and cash collection
  3. Monitor credit approval and updating processes
  4. Escalate accounts to police and legal stages as necessary
  5. Maintain updated collection strategies and action plans
  6. Implement collection action plans to reduce overdue percentages
  7. Develop and monitor KPIs for the collection team
  8. Prepare, review, and deliver credit-related MIS reports
  9. Collaborate with management and sales teams on credit and collection issues
  10. Staff development and performance monitoring

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Strong background in Credit Management.

Minimum Experience: At least 3 years managing receivables teams, involving leadership and coaching, preferably in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Membership in a professional credit body (e.g., ICM).

Job-Specific Skills: Tact, diplomacy, leadership, coaching skills, proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, multitasking, and thorough knowledge of AR policies and procedures.
