Job summary

Want More is seeking a skilled Crane Operator for Al Shamkhah City, UAE. You will operate and maintain cranes safely and support the team on lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires a high school diploma and good teamwork and communication skills.

Prior crane experience is preferred but not required, and training may be provided. Salary is 1500 AED per month, with immigrant applicants considered; relocation info may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; certification from a technical/trade school is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with cranes or other heavy machinery is preferred but not required
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and hoisting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor crane operation during lifting to ensure safety.
• Inspect crane components before each shift.
• Load and unload cargo as directed.
• Set up rigging equipment for lifting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on crane equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance and lifts.
• Provide team support as needed.
