Job summary

Crane operator in Musaffah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Musaffah. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of crane operations. We are offering a competitive salary of 1000, and we are also ready to consider foreigners for this position.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation of cranes in a safe and efficient manner, as well as performing preventive maintenance on the crane, including lubrication and other minor repairs.


• The candidate must be able to read technical drawings and follow instructions from supervisors.


• They must be able to maintain accurate records of their work hours and crane activity.


• The duties of the Crane Operator will include: operating cranes according to safety regulations; conducting daily inspections on the crane before use; loading and unloading cargo; maintaining accurate records of all activities; repairing minor faults on the crane; completing minor maintenance tasks; adhering to all safety regulations; following instructions from supervisors at all times; and preparing the work site before beginning operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience with operating cranes in a safe manner, ideally with experience working with heavy machinery.


• Ability to show evidence of the ability to follow safety procedures, as well as demonstrate a good understanding of all material handling processes associated with crane operations.


• Understanding of electrical equipment is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will also need to have a valid driver’s license in order to operate the crane safely at our location in Musaffah.
