Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Crane Operator to join our operations team. You will inspect crane components, follow supervisor instructions, and position loads safely according to signals from ground staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of safety regulations, English proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Prior crane operating experience is a plus but not required. Salary is 1600 AED per month with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety regulations is essential.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written) is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Previous crane operating experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect crane components for signs of wear or damage prior to use.
• Follow instructions from supervisor or other personnel with regard to crane operation.
• Operate crane controls to raise, lower, swing, move and position loads according to signal from workers on the ground.
• Monitor load capacity limits on hoists and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain precise control of cranes when moving loads in congested areas.
