In this role, you will operate a crane to lift and move various items and materials around the work site. You must have excellent communication, problem solving, and safety skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane within designated area safely following established safety protocols
• Execute lifting instructions accurately as given by supervisor
• Check condition of crane prior to use and report any issues or potential risks to supervisor
• Inspect load before lifting to ensure safe balance; adjust the load as needed
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and regulations pertaining to crane operation are adhered to
• Participate in regular maintenance checks of crane equipment
• Report any damage or breakage of machinery immediately
• Other duties as assigned
