Job summary

EnerMech UAE is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day workshop activities, focusing on refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic components for heavy equipment. The role requires hands-on supervision, team coordination, and adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in fast-paced industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of offshore pedestal cranes and hydraulic systems.
• Certifications in crane maintenance, hydraulics, or welding are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise all workshop operations including dismantling, refurbishment and reassembly of crane components.
• Assign tasks to technicians and monitor performance to meet deadlines.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and communicate job hazards and controls.
• Perform quality checks at various refurbishment stages and ensure 5S compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical repairs and hydraulic systems.
• Review drawings and manuals to guide the team and ensure OEM/API standards.
• Maintain records, support inspections, and assist in client audits.
