Conares is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its accounting department in Dubai. You will perform cost analyses and prepare budget reports, focusing on product costing, cost allocation and profitability analysis to maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of manufacturing costing experience, be proficient in SAP S/4HANA CO, and demonstrate strong Excel and analytical skills to support budgeting and variance analysis.

Qualificações

• Qualified ICWA or CA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing costing
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA with knowledge of the CO module
• Good understanding of financial accounting and general accounting principles
• Strong Excel and analytical skills

Responsabilidades

• Handle product costing, cost allocation and profitability analysis
• Monitor raw material consumption, production costs and inventory valuation
• Analyse production variances, wastage, yield and capacity utilisation
• Prepare monthly costing reports, MIS and product-wise profitability statements
• Work closely with production and procurement teams to understand cost drivers and identify areas for cost improvement
• Assist in preparing and updating the company's business and financial models, including production volumes, capacity utilisation, raw material costs, operating expenses and profitability projections
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Assist with monthly closing, inventory reconciliation and financial reporting
• Review existing costing processes and suggest improvements

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine different data and calculate profit margins and manage cost information to maximize profitability.
