About the Role

A leading investment group is seeking an experienced Corporate Secretary / Governance Specialist to join its high-level legal and compliance function in the UAE.

The position plays a central role in supporting Board and committee operations, regulatory engagement, and governance strategy. Responsibilities include advising senior leadership on governance matters, overseeing statutory obligations, drafting and managing corporate documentation in both English and Arabic, and embedding best practices across the organization.

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification in governance (e.g., ICSA, IOD) highly desirable
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in governance, corporate secretarial, or compliance roles within financial institutions or listed entities in the UAE
  • Native-level fluency in Arabic and English, with strong legal drafting and translation skills
  • Proven ability to liaise with regulatory authorities and manage complex governance frameworks
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior staff and delivering governance training
