Job summary

IKEA UAE, Oman and Qatar, part of the Al-Futtaim group, is seeking an Accountant to ensure seamless financial controlling and management across the region.

The role handles sales and purchase postings, accounts payable, inter-company movements, and maintains internal controls using SAP and Navision. You will collaborate with stores, business functions and external partners to ensure accurate reporting and VAT compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance.
• At least 3 years of experience as Accounts Executive or Accounts Assistant.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office packages.
• Knowledge of accounting software packages, preferably ERP systems like SAP.

Responsibilities

• Book sales & collection entries in Navision and SAP.
• Coordinate with Shared Service AP team to reconcile vendor-related GL accounts.
• Review vendor reconciliation monthly and manage ad-hoc payments.
• Maintain inter-company movements (ICM) reports and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and VAT rules.
