Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Associate in Accounting & Reporting to join a top-tier Internet Marketplace Platform company in Dubai, UAE. The role involves overseeing financial statements, ensuring accuracy in journal postings, and facilitating transfer pricing data. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and be fluent in Arabic and English. This is an independent contractor position with an immediate start and a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant professional experience.
• A strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, principles and tax.
• Ability to interact with all departments and levels throughout our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the timely preparation and availability of financial statements.
• Supervise and ensure the accuracy of journal postings.
• Facilitate the provision of accurate and timely data for transfer pricing local files.
• Develop and maintain a calendar for ongoing audits of financial statements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA / CA / ACCA / equivalent qualification preferred
