Job summary

India Abroad in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Accountant for a contract position. You will manage billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and inventory while preparing accurate financial records and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own visa or transferable visa is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and inventory
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times
