ITP Media Group is looking for a conscientious, detail‑oriented and proactive assistant to support the running and logistics of its content and events departments. An excellent communicator and stickler for detail, the ideal candidate is chronically online, mad about media and renowned for their organisational skills. This role reports to the Chief Content Officer and supports process projects and products for brands including Time Out, Gault Millau and Ahlan in the Middle East and WatchPro in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiling and organising resources for editorial and marketing projects, training sessions and meetings.
- Liaising with design, content, video and events departments to compile assets for internal and external projects including pitches, presentations, launches, redesigns and special activations.
- Keeping and updating a monthly calendar of deadlines, meetings and action points and following up to ensure deadlines are met for products and projects.
- Setting up, organising and managing project boards and trackers for editorial projects.
- Setting up Canva templates for editorial and events projects and keeping these organised and updated.
- Initiating, compiling and reporting research for editorial, marketing and events projects.
- Supporting department editors with special projects as required.
- Supporting the Editorial and Events departments with pre‑ and in‑event logistics.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- At least two years experience in a media or events business.
- A strong grasp of Excel, Canva, CRM and CMS software.
- Experience in content creation (writing or social for media or events).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of the media and events landscape in the Middle East.
- Understanding of the Middle East’s dynamic cultural identity and a passion for new experiences.
- Ability to understand the importance of and maintain confidentiality of information related to the business and its employees.
- Fluent English essential, fluent Arabic desirable.
