Job summary

Client of Dr Expat is seeking a senior thoracic surgeon to join a leading tertiary centre in the United Arab Emirates. The candidate should hold a board-certification in thoracic surgery from a Western board and possess independent experience in major procedures such as VATS and lung resections.

Consultant-level experience in a tertiary or university hospital is required, and DOH licensing or eligibility is mandatory to practice in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements

• Board certification in Thoracic Surgery from a recognised Western board (e.g. American Board, UK CCT, Canadian Royal College, Australian or European specialist qualification).
• Independent experience in major thoracic procedures, including VATS and lung resections.
• Consultant-level experience in a tertiary or university hospital.
• DOH licence, or eligible for DOH licensing.
