Client of First Medical Center in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The successful candidate will lead patient‑centred treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation services.

You will support patients in achieving optimal functional recovery and quality of life while maintaining high standards of clinical care,

Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Consultant-level experience as per UAE licensing requirements.
• Eligibility for or active UAE licence.
• Strong clinical expertise in rehabilitation medicine.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with physical disabilities and neurological conditions.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans based on status and goals.
• Coordinate care with physiotherapists, therapists, nurses and specialists.
• Provide specialist consultations for complex rehab cases.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust plans as patients progress.
• Maintain documentation and participate in meetings and quality initiatives.

A premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients with musculoskeletal conditions neurological disorders functional limitations and complex rehabilitation needs. The successful candidate will lead patient‑centred treatment plans coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation services and support patients in achieving optimal functional recovery and quality of life.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess diagnose and manage patients with physical disabilities musculoskeletal disorders neurological conditions and functional impairments.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans based on each patient s clinical condition functional status and recovery goals.
• Manage rehabilitation following stroke spinal cord injury traumatic brain injury surgery and other disabling conditions.
• Coordinate care with physiotherapists occupational therapists speech and language therapists nurses and other specialists.
• Provide specialist consultations for complex rehabilitation cases and advise on appropriate treatment pathways.
• Evaluate functional outcomes and adjust treatment plans according to patient progress.
• Promote evidence‑based rehabilitation practices and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality‑improvement initiatives.
