The ideal candidate brings board certification in Paediatric Pulmonology or Paediatrics, a Tier 1 qualification, and 3–5 years post-specialisation experience, with eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOHAP licensing.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Paediatric Pulmonology or Paediatrics is required.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS, RCPSC, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post-specialisation experience in Paediatric Pulmonology.
• Eligibility for Consultant licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory assessment, diagnosis, and management for paediatric patients.
• Manage acute and chronic paediatric respiratory conditions.
• Diagnose and treat asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep-related breathing disorders, and recurrent infections.
• Perform paediatric pulmonary function testing and respiratory assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Paediatric Pulmonologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive paediatric respiratory care services, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques, evidence-based treatment approaches, and clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centred pulmonary care. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory assessment, diagnosis, and management for paediatric patients
• Manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
• Diagnose and treat conditions including asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep-related breathing disorders, and recurrent respiratory infections
• Perform and interpret paediatric pulmonary function testing and respiratory assessments
• Manage complex paediatric respiratory cases requiring multidisciplinary care
• Provide advanced respiratory therapies and treatment plans based on clinical guidelines
• Develop individualized management plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Collaborate with paediatricians, intensivists, allergists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support medical education, training, and departmental development

Qualifications

• Board certification in Paediatric Pulmonology / Paediatrics with recognised paediatric pulmonology fellowship or equivalent
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialisation experience in Paediatric Pulmonology
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
