In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to critically ill neonates, utilizing your expertise in neonatal medicine to enhance patient outcomes. You will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with a team of medical professionals to provide optimal care to newborns and support their families during challenging times.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough assessments and diagnosing a wide range of neonatal conditions
  • Managing the treatment and care of critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Collaborating with pediatric teams to formulate effective treatment plans
  • Providing guidance and training to junior medical staff and healthcare teams
  • Communicating complex medical information effectively to patients' families and caregivers
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to elevate the standard of care
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on neonatology advancements and best practices
Qualifications
  • DM DrNB degree with specialization in Neonatology from an accredited institution
  • Valid DOH accreditation and medical license in the corresponding jurisdiction
  • Completion of a Pediatric residency and fellowship training in Neonatology
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in a NICU setting
  • Board certification in Neonatology is preferred
