Qualifications

• Must hold recognised specialist qualifications (MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent).
• Candidates should possess international credentialing such as ABIM, MRCP/FRCP or Arab Board.
• Experience in inpatient adult medicine and complex comorbidity management preferred.
• Ability to lead rounds, coordinate referrals and supervise junior doctors.
• Familiarity with UAE licensing and hospital governance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care for adults with acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, investigations, and discharge planning.
• Manage complex comorbidities including diabetes, hypertension, infections, cardiac and renal diseases.
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise junior doctors and promote evidence‑based clinical protocols.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and adherence to UAE healthcare standards.

About The Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its adult medical care, inpatient management and complex comorbidity services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Internal Medicine to join its clinical team. The role offers internationally trained specialists the opportunity to practise in a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient-centred care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultant-level care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Lead inpatient rounds, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning and discharge coordination
• Manage complex comorbidities, including diabetes, hypertension, infections, and cardiac and renal conditions
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and support continuity of care across outpatient and inpatient settings
• Supervise junior doctors, support evidence‑based clinical protocols and participate in clinical governance
• Ensure accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, medication safety and compliance with UAE healthcare standards

Requirements
