Role Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified dualcertified Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our highacuity emergency department. The role requires expertise in managing both adult and pediatric emergencies delivering rapid evidencebased care and contributing to clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive emergency care for adult and pediatric patients including trauma resuscitation and highacuity presentations.
  • Lead rapid assessment stabilization and critical decisionmaking in emergency scenarios.
  • Perform advanced emergency procedures (airway management resuscitation trauma interventions and pediatric life support).
  • Collaborate with pediatrics ICU surgery radiology and other specialties to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in pediatric emergency pathways safeguarding protocols and familycentered care.
  • Contribute to clinical governance quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors residents and nursing staff.
  • Support the development of clinical guidelines pathways and emergency care standards.
  • Participate in oncall and shiftbased duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Board Certification / CCT in Emergency Medicine.
  • Additional Board Certification / Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility for licensing in Insert Country/Region.
  • Demonstrated experience in highvolume emergency departments.
  • Certification in ALS ATLS and PALS/APLS.
  • Strong communication leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidencebased practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in tertiary or highacuity emergency settings.
  • Interest in teaching simulation training or research.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
