Job summary

Allocation Assist in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare facility. The role covers obstetrics, gynecology, prenatal and postnatal care, and minimally invasive procedures in a patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, perform cesarean sections, and lead preventive women's health services while adhering to DOH regulations and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-board consultant experience in a reputed hospital.
• Expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health management.
• Strong surgical, communication, and patient counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological consultations for outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders including menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility, fibroids, endometriosis, and menopausal conditions.
• Perform gynecological and obstetric surgical procedures including cesarean sections and minimally invasive surgeries where applicable.
• Conduct routine women's health screenings and preventive care services.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy care, family planning, and preventive healthcare.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.
