Client of Dr Expat in Al Ain, UAE, seeks a Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Colorectal Surgery to diagnose and manage colorectal diseases and perform advanced minimally invasive procedures.

Job description

As a Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Colorectal Surgery you will diagnose and manage a wide range of colorectal diseases while performing advanced minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality surgical care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat benign and malignant colorectal conditions
• Perform advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal procedures
• Manage pre-operative intra-operative and post-operative patient care
• Perform complex colon and rectal surgeries using evidence-based techniques
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists oncologists radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery. Experience performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic colorectal procedures. Valid DOH License or Eligibility for Consultant licensure. Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
