Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is recruiting a Chest Physician – Specialist/Consultant for a leading UAE healthcare facility in Dubai. You will diagnose, manage, and coordinate care for acute and chronic chest conditions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires MBBS/MD with postgraduate Pulmonology qualification and Western board experience is preferred. Excellent clinical and communication skills are essential, with emphasis on patient-centered care and professional development.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology, Respiratory Medicine, Chest Medicine, or equivalent.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant Chest Physician.
• Experience diagnosing and managing acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Experience with pulmonary investigations and diagnostic procedures preferred.
• Western boards preferred (UK CCT, American, Australian, Canadian) if available.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and high standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory and chest conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practices.
• Manage asthma, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory infections, interstitial lung disease, pleural disorders, and sleep-related conditions.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary investigations and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide consultation for complex cases and coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, and professional development.
