Job summary

The ideal candidate holds international qualifications (e.g., American Board, UK MRCP/FRCP, European Board or Arab Board) and demonstrates strong clinical judgement, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate UAE regulatory

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and cardiac conditions.
• Provide consultant-level care for coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and other cardiovascular disorders.
• Perform and interpret cardiac investigations including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring and other relevant diagnostic tests.
• Develop personalised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Manage patients with chest pain, acute coronary syndromes and other cardiac emergencies in coordination with emergency and critical care teams.
• Provide preventive cardiology, cardiovascular risk assessment and lifestyle counselling.
• Coordinate care with cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, radiology and other relevant specialties.
• Provide appropriate follow-up and long-term management for patients with cardiovascular disease.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, audit and patient safety initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its cardiology and cardiovascular services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and cardiac care infrastructure.
