Job summary

Casa Tera in Dubai is seeking a surveyor to conduct topographic, boundary and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and levels. You will establish and verify control points, set out positions for excavation, foundations, columns and roads, and check accuracy during construction.

As-built surveys and reports will be prepared for completed works, with monitoring of settlement when required. You will coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to ensure data accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• Experience with total stations, GPS and automatic levels.
• Ability to establish project control points and reference coordinates.
• Experience with setting out positions, levels and alignments for structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic, boundary and construction surveys using total stations, GPS and levels.
• Establish and verify project control points, benchmarks and reference coordinates.
• Set out positions, levels and alignment for excavation, foundations, columns, walls, roads and utilities.
• Check accuracy of seeing-out works before and during construction.
• Prepare as-built surveys and drawings for completed works.
• Monitor settlement and deformation where required.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure survey data is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare survey reports, calculations, field notes and coordinate schedules.
• Verify dimensions, elevations and locations against approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Assist in quantity verification and progress measurement when required.
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project quality standards, health and safety requirements and local regulations.
