Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead day-to-day site operations for large building projects. You will coordinate contractors, consultants, and project teams, manage progress, resources, and sequencing, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and HSE standards.

The role requires 15–20 years of building construction experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and mandatory SOE/DMT registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 15–20 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• SOE and DMT registration is mandatory.
• Strong experience in construction management, contractor coordination, project delivery, programme and quality control, and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, drawings, specifications, and UAE construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
