Job summary

A Compliance Consultancy is seeking a Compliance Officer for its Compliance Department in Sharjah. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Free Zone regulations, UAE laws, and AML/CFT requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory filings, conducting compliance checks, maintaining records, and acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related fields, previous compliance experience in a UAE context, and proficiency in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications

  • Previous compliance experience within a Free Zone or regulated UAE environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Free Zone authority regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and applicable UAE laws.
  • Monitor company activities, licenses, and regulatory filings to ensure timely renewals and submissions.
  • Conduct compliance checks, risk assessments, and internal reviews.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports for management and regulators.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Free Zone authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries.
