Job summary

Work standard in Sharjah is seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to support elderly or disabled individuals at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, administer medications as directed, and help with transportation to appointments.

You will also assist with housekeeping, meal preparation, and family communication. The role requires patience, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills; First Aid certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different needs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks calmly under pressure.
• First Aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to elderly or disabled individuals at home.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor health needs.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Provide transportation to appointments and for errands.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
