Job summary

TransitPro Solutions is seeking a caregiver to support elderly individuals in need of daily assistance. You will provide compassionate care, promote independence, and help maintain dignity while coordinating with family and healthcare providers as needed.

The role is part-time with the potential to move to full-time, and accommodation is provided for caregivers coming from outside the country. A competitive salary and flexible hours are offered to fit student or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Compassionate by nature with ability to provide emotional support.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients based on their dietary needs.
• Accompany clients to appointments or assist with transportation needs.
• Engage in meaningful activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor changes in health and report concerns to medical professionals or family.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping.
